Met with Dimitri to have our old carpet removed from the basement. He was very pleasant and a pleasure to do business with. Vinyl Planking was installed and a great job was done with the installation. I had nothing to clean up when it was completed. Would definitely recommend them.

What we do
Vinyl plank that lasts starts under the plank.

LVP installation
Proper spacing, locking systems and layout, so the floor looks natural and performs as intended.
Basement flooring
LVP for moisture-prone spaces, installed to handle real-life conditions without warping or failure.
Subfloor prep & leveling
Flat to about 3/16 in over 10 ft: high spots ground down, low spots filled.
Concrete moisture testing
If readings are high, a moisture-barrier underlayment or mitigation goes in first.
Removal & disposal
When required, we remove the existing flooring and dispose of it.
Product guidance
Durable products, typically 12 mil wear layer or higher.
Why our LVP holds up
Quality product, proper prep, floors that handle real life.

Built for real life
Basements, playrooms, laundry rooms, home gyms, mudrooms and lower-level living spaces.
Quality-first products

Prep is the difference
Moisture testing, a barrier where needed, and leveling come before the first plank goes down.

LVP generally lands in the 10-15 year range, depending on product quality and traffic.
All-inclusive pricing
Clear pricing with no surprise add-ons.
Fast estimates
Often same or next day.
Family-run
Work directly with the family that runs the company.
Dimitry Tretyak is the owner of Dynamic Floor Covering. Flooring has been in his family for generations: first his grandfather, then his father, and now Dimitry leading the company, with hardwood experience going back to the mid-2000s.
When you hire us, you work directly with the people responsible for the quality of your floors, not a sales rep who disappears after the contract is signed. Monique Michaud Absolutely amazing job! Dimitry was able to come out in less than 24 hours after contacting for a quote, was super responsive, and thoroughly answered any questions I had. After ripping up the carpet there was a rough patch of material that they were able to completely get rid of, you would never even know it was there to begin with. The team was fast and left the area extremely clean. Would highly recommend!
Accolade19 Excellent service and support from Dimitry from consultation to installation! Answered all my questions, provided a strong recommendation to fit my home, and gave an excellent price for superb quality. Loving the new floor as I continue building my man cave, easy 5 stars!
M Finn-Scofield I could not be happier with the work they’ve done in my home. They are super responsive, friendly, professional, reasonably priced. This is the second time my family has worked with them, and we’d gladly do so again!

FAQ
Questions homeowners ask before they book.
Is LVP good for basements?
Yes. Basements are usually better suited for luxury vinyl plank than hardwood because of moisture risk. A waterproof core handles spills and humidity that would damage solid hardwood. Over concrete we test for moisture first and add a moisture-barrier underlayment or mitigation if readings are high.
What wear layer should I choose?
We typically recommend a 12 mil wear layer or higher; below that is often where you start seeing breakdown and wear. A thicker wear layer, around 20 mil and up, stands up better to kids, pets and busy rooms.
How long does LVP last?
In most real-world homes, LVP generally lands in the 10-15 year range, depending on product quality and traffic. Higher-quality products can last longer, but it is not meant to be a forever floor like hardwood.
Can you install over concrete?
Yes. The slab has to be clean, flat, fully cured and dry. We test for moisture first, and the floor needs to be flat within about 3/16 inch over 10 feet, so we grind down high spots and fill low ones so the planks sit solid.
How long does an LVP installation take?
LVP is one of the faster floors to install because there is no on-site sanding or finishing. A single room is often finished in a day. Subfloor prep, such as removing the old floor, leveling, or a moisture barrier over concrete, adds time.
Do you remove old flooring?
Yes. When required, we remove the existing flooring and dispose of it so the new floor starts with a clean slate.
